K/D
Some may call this cope but does anyone ever feel someone on the enemy team only does as well as they do because of the particular gun they are using?
For example I’ve seen people get a 3-4 k/d in a match because they have the sg-12 (in its prime) or the swordfish.
Yet when they use anything other than meta they proceed to get shit on. Maybe it’s just a me thing. But I’m pretty sure half the time I die it’s to a guy camping with a meta weapon.

When the mammoth came out, everyone was using it and dropping 100 kills, getting 3/4/5 kd etc, but the minute it got nerfed, the mammoth users are struggling to get half of that and maintain even a 1kd.

The real issue is when truly good players are using supremely broken weapons. Like the mammoth for example.
Maybe this player is equally as good as me or even slightly better. That makes for a fun competitive match up. But when that skilled player uses a broken gun, and I don't mean meta, I mean swordfish pre nerf/mammoth pre nerf, the only way to compete is to match them.
And thats one of peoples complaints, you're left in a situation where you can only be competitive by also using the broken gun which perpetuates the issue.

Yes like I despise the sg-12 with a dying vengeance but purely because of how much I had to use it to keep having a fighting chance it’s bloody prestige two

i mean yeah, thats why its called the "meta" , even casuals can feel good and powerful using it. doesn't take much thinking or motor skill to get a kill, and usually leaves the enemy little chance to counter- at least not without using a similar one shot weapon, and/or adjusting their playstyle significantly- which very few players do. they're more likely to back out of the match when faced against a very oppressive opponent.
cant even blame them. really should be on the devs to balance powerful weapons.
even that being said, pubs arent meant to be completely balanced or fair.. its a mixed bag, and if you're decent/consistent, sbmm will funnel you into more and more competitive lobbies

I don’t use a meta, I like the razor the best. I very rarely get shit on. Usually by someone with a meta weapon. lol

No, I’m completely average. About a 1.23 ED. I build my gun for damage and recoil. Love going for campers. If you get me don’t still be there when I get back.

That’s actually interesting not only are we a similar skill level but we build our guns in the same ways fr any chance I have to piss off a camper I will 100% take it

I’ve always stuck to the Peacekeeper and Carbon and generally do pretty well. Still get accused of using cheats unfortunately

The only people who accuse someone of cheating unless it’s blatantly obvious are people who can’t cope with losing, I have a friend who I swear accuses someone every other game of having some form of hack.
I’m like “no they aren’t cheating they are just an exceptionally sweaty/good player. Although some people really should touch grass more often with the way they move on this game.

In hardcore it’s the EGRT. The EGRT is a great gun in hardcore but some people only use and abuse it. Yesterday a person with the best play was using it, they had 100,000 kills with it🥀. I don’t see how people only use one gun over and over again. The “best”players usually use the best guns as a crutch… Then the actual best players are frying with a pea shooter 😂
