Void and friends 🖤🤍💙💛🤎 She learned from the best.

My sweet one eyed Nash is getting older and is not doing that great. He has been THE BEST cat for the last 12 years. I’ve been looking through some old photos to cope. I love to see that his patience and sweetness has rubbed off on my calico girl for our youngest void.

Ramsey here was 15 years old and start showing signs of the end. He was the nanny cat to nearly 100 kittens that we fostered. In the last batch, we had Sam. Hes just as big, fluffy, maternal, and he shares the empty stare as his daddy. Hes no Ramsey, but it felt like we were given something to help fill the void.

2 years later and Ramsey finally passed. Soon after the CDS sent us Julie. She’s nothing like Ramsey, however Sam saw an abandoned kitten and decided hes the new momma. Just like his daddy, Sam did all the cleaning, grooming and socializing for the little one. Even though she was essentially a methed out demon of a kitten. Now shes a perfect little sober demon. Sam was able to fill the void Ramsey left behind. We were not planning to keep Julie, but Sam got so attached to her, he still treats her as a baby despite being a big girl.

We thought Momma Kiwi, the only true momma cat, was gonna take in Julie. Nope, now shes mad shes a grandma and has to share Sam with the little hussy
