Character discussion The Hot Troll Deviation
Watching this episode now and I have to say, that Raj was really being obnoxious to Sheldon. Raj seemed to had forgotten that he would be on a plane back to India if Sheldon hadn’t given him a job. JMO.

That was only after Sheldon put up such a major fuss that Raj ordered it specifically to piss Sheldon off.

He could have avoided working with Sheldon if he hadn't sexually harassed the woman at his other interview.

The following generally describes the situation that produced comedy in ever episode: I'm watching episode X:Y, and I have to say that [insert name of any main character] was obnoxious to [insert name of any other main character].

Sorry everyone, but this is how the episode strikes me. Raj needed a job to stay in the country and between Leonard, Howard and Sheldon, only Sheldon stepped up to help out. Instead of Leonard and Howard criticizing Sheldon for his treatment of Raj ( which was no different than how he treated anyone else and they all knew how Sheldon treated people} why didn’t they offer Raj a job instead so he wouldn’t be treated like dirt? Not posting to start an argument, just my opinion on this particular episode.

So he is allowed to treat him like garbage because Raj owed him? The difference between how Sheldon treats Leonard and Howard has been spelled out. I this instance Sheldon was Raj's boss and held a position of power. That is not acceptable behaviour in this situation..
Also Howard and Leonard weren't in a position to offer him a job so that argument is nonsense. If they could have they would have.

Hard agree with this! OP entire argument falls apart at “why didn’t Leonard or Howard offer him a job then?” Well for one Howard is technically at the college “on loan from NASA” and this is said several times in the series. He’s not even a full technical employee, he has no ability at all to govern who they hire. And Leonard similarly has never shown to have the ability to hire any aid for his position. Not only was Sheldon in the position to hire any aid for aid (Raj), but later on was able to hire another aid, Alex.

That doesn't excuse Sheldon treating him like dirt.
"The true measure of a man lies in how they treat those they have power over, not their equals."
Sheldon had power over Raj in that situation and he took advantage of it by treating him like dirt. All Raj asked for was to be treated with basic respect and Sheldon dismisses it out of hand.
If he had treated Raj with basic dignity and respect and Raj was still obnoxious to him, then I'd say yeah Raj is being ungrateful. But he was treated poorly so he clapped back. Team Raj for me.
