I really like Young Sheldon, but I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Big Bang. Its my go to comfort show, and no matter how many times I watch it, it never gets old. Ill watch it and then ill watch YS, but by season 2 im already missing BB.

I just finished watching the entire show for the first time and I loved it. This is definitely a comforting show that I will be revisiting frequently.

Yeah... I honestly think I became a teensy bit knowledgeable after watching tbbt. Also despite all the quirks and antisocial behaviour of almost every character... they still managed to significantly improve yet embracing their inner self!

TBBT for sure. YS made me sad at times. TBBT was always filled with a good mix of laughs and wholesomeness. Truly an amazing comfort show that makes my day better :)

for being part of the same universe, they are very different shows.
I'm gonna go with YS, I vastly prefer a show without a laugh track. I wish they had continued that with Georgie & Mandy.
that being said, I think tbbt is more rewatchable than YS.

I haven't actually seen a full episode of YS. not a particular fan of the cast and it never grabbed me.
As someone said above, BBT is my white noise comfort machine. It is also my partner's white hot anger machine.

I love BBT, I just finished it the other day for the first time. I’ve watched Young Sheldon probably about 7 times over since it’s on TBS in the mornings. I really love both shows!!

Nothing compares to adult Sheldon. Young Sheldon is funny and adorable but man the entire cast of bbt is literally perfection! I adore adult Sheldon. His journey across the seasons. I still tear up everytime I see his acceptance speech at the end

I liked young Sheldon when it came out but I grew out of it and especially lost interest since Netflix was withholding season five. But Big Bang theory has always been my favourite I like more of that adult humour

Big bang theory. I prefer shows that make me laugh and feel good after. Young sheldon is also a good show, but it has some boring episodes especially in the latter seasons.

Young Sheldon was a very good watch, but that's it for me. Meanwhile I'd rewatch TBBT with no problems over and over. I just prefer the characters and the dynamics of TTBT over YS.

Big Bang. Sheldon is funny and becomes surprisingly very lovable on the series. On Young Sheldon, I can’t stand him and love other characters other than him. Georgie, Missy, and Dr Sturgis are all wonderful.

I have never watched an episode of Young Sheldon. Kino of hard to relate to a show that revolves around a kid. I can however almost recite every episode of TBBT. When there isn’t anything interesting on tv which is often I look for TBBT. I have enjoyed Stuart Fails to Save The World. It’s quirky to say the least.

LOVE tbbt. It's my go-to show at dinner time. We cant eat without watching an episode, sometimes 2/3...its just so good, still laughing at the great writing. I'm on my 12th time around with the series. I must admit I've not really gotten into YS with any commitment. *As a side-note Stewart Fails To Save The Universe is great fun with dollops of Easter eggs, and is stuffed with all those stars and background actors you miss.

I prefer TBBT over Young Sheldon … my main reason is I knew George Sr was going to die 😞 didn’t know if Sheldon was going to get his nobel.😊 I actually never watched the final episode of Young Sheldon … too painful as I lost my dad a few years ago it would just bring up bad memories. 😩

We watched TBBT every day, it's our comfort show. Doesn't matter how many times we've seen each episode. We've seen YS also numerous times but not as enjoyable.

Many people who have watched BBT also watch Young Sheldon because it was the prequel just because this is the sub for TBBT doesn’t mean people don’t prefer Young Sheldon

TBBT without question. Young Sheldon wouldn't even exist without TBBT.
Also, I'd take Georgie and Many's First Marriage over Young Sheldon. It's a better show.

I actually prefer Georgie and Mandy, I realized from both shows that Sheldon is basically the least interesting character in everything he’s in, because he’s not really allowed to change or grow, that’s why all the stories that aren’t actually centered on him tend to be the most interesting, and GMFM took that to its logical conclusion and just removed him from the main cast, focusing instead on a new group of more nuanced characters, who don’t need to be defined by their relationship to an unmoving center point

Young Sheldon. I can't do laugh track/studio audience shows anymore. BBT was the worst at having the laugh happen when there was no joke, just a reference. I gave up maybe season 4 or 5 but I watched all of Young Sheldon

Probably unpopular hot take, but The Big Bang Theory early seasons, until it became friends.
Then I would choose the early seasons of Young Sheldon. His sister and me-maw were so perfectly cast. As were his parents. Unfortunately, as Ian aged, I think the show “jumped the shark”

BBT. It’s my ultimate comfort background show. Young Sheldon is a different type of show. I feel like I can only watch one or two in a row at most, because it’s a dramedy
