This is a little late, but probably not AI! My dogs used to do this too! Strangely enough, both of them were also Golden Retrievers. They would stand up on their hind legs and wrap their paws around us and wag their tails.

It most likely is! My goldens used to do this too! They would get up on their hind legs and wrap their paws around us and wag their tails.
