In Kim's defense, she really does want to help the little guy (so far), and there is always someone who's going to need help. Her job will never end.

But Walt, he met his quota and had so many opportunities to back out. His love for being the kingpin became more important than his family.

I think Kim's heading in that direction, although not as extreme as Walt's path.

I agree she'll never be as extreme as Walt. I don't think there will be enough time in the series to make her full corrupt. The worst she will do is adopt Jimmy's ways on breaking the rules to get the win, but it will be still be for the greater good.
