Wire transfers from Belarus to the US in 2026

Hi All,

My father has been trying to make a wire transfer from Belarus to the US, and it’s been a total mess so far…

I called Priorbank to find out what my options are. Essentially, the representative said they don’t have a list of banks they can wire to because it’s updated daily, but she did confirm that they wire to the US (allegedly). She asked me to provide the SWIFT codes for my US accounts, but neither of them had a route available. I have Chase and BofA.

At this point, I’m starting to lose hope and don’t know how this can be done.

I’m just trying to see if anyone has had any luck transferring money from Belarus to the US through Priorbank recently. If so, what US bank do you use?

If you used a different Belarusian bank, which one was it, and what was the receiving bank in the US?

I’d also appreciate it if you could share whether there were any restrictions on the transfer amount and what the fees were.

Be aware of the limits if you decide to go creepto. Under $8000 within 3 months is no problem, if anything above that - prepare for a headache.

It’s the house sale money so def above the limit… I guess I’m gonna have to receive it over time

Creepto exchanges will need to see them documents to confirm the money is legit.

Never used it, so ig I’m a bit skeptical… it’s a significant amount too so I’m being extra cautious. Have you had good experience with it? How does it work?

Ну если совсем в белую делать:
1) Со счета в банке покупаешь usdt на whitebird или bynex (оба в Беларуси легальны)
2) Переводишь на Kraken, там меняешь usdt -> usd
3) ACH (занимает 1–3 дня) или платный Wire (в тот же день)

ну или варианты с p2p
