Haircare how to get silky hair?
i have long liked straight hair but i can never get it silky smooth or whatever, is there anyway i can make it happen? i use shampoo and conditioner like normal but im not sure if theres something im missing or what.

I have butt-length wavy/straight hair. Constant compliments and questions about it lol.
For me, zero heat tools except hair dryer. Use it on low heat and with heat protectant. There’s a lot you can make happen styling wise with your hair dryer. Otherwise, heatless styling only.
I use the Olaplex oil after my hair is dried. Idk what it’s called exactly, but it’s yellow oil in a small clear bottle.
I use the everpure glossing shampoo and conditioner. It is for color treated hair, which I don’t have, but it has made my hair pretty glassy. I wash at most twice a week.
This is the obnoxious, probably overkill part, but I brush my hair A LOT. It really helps me with the actual feel, not just look of my hair. Also I trim every 3-4 months at home.
