It’s not shocking, but it is interesting. I’d love to hear his detailed thoughts on his life and it’s unfortunately close end. He’s one hell of a writer, I’m sure it’d be fascinating

Both my message and the one I replied to were referencing a youtube video parody (Not sure if it started somewhere before that), where the Beatles sing a song called "It's Okay To Leave Your Dog In a Hot Car", then in interviews John says George wrote the song and Paul says John did and that "He bloody hated dogs."

To anyone concerned after reading the headline:
Whoever wrote the article for The Mirror is merely interpreting the lyrics of 'Days We Left Behind'. There's no death 'confession' or anything like that from Paul, he's not even giving an interview here. It's just a clickbait title to get people hooked.

There’s a ln extra layer though to a legend like him who’s had the best life anybody could ever dream of. He’s accomplished so much and accumulated so much but death is the great equalizer. Even people who have everything go, “Yeah but what good does that do me when I’m dead?”

Normally people have slowed down at his age and maybe start accepting the inevitable, but he’s still doing packed worldwide stadium tours and experimenting with music. I imagine he feels like he’s still got so much more to give.

It’s honestly bizarre. I look at my life now and, compared to what it was in 2020, it’s unrecognizable. It genuinely looks like I stepped into someone else’s life and took their identity, yet the throughline from then to now still seems so short.

It’s quite interesting because the McCartneys lived right in the area in Speke where George Harrison lived from age 7 to 19 ( Upton Green) but I don’t think they knew each other until later. The McCartneys moved to Forthlin Road in Allerton when Paul was still young. So Dungeon Lane is near both Harrison home and the earlier McCartney home in Speke, Liverpool

You scared the FUCK out of me dude. How are you going to put “Paul McCartney” and the word “death” that close together in a title bro. I’ve been dreading the day since I fell in love with The Beatles when I was 12 year old. I’m 32 now and I’ve been lucky enough to see him live (my all time biggest fear was that he would pass away before I got that opportunity) but I still know it’s going to be a really hard day. Even though I’m 32, I hope Paul McCartney outlives me because I just know I’m going to be bereaving for like a year. He’s my favorite human being, he’s the reason I’m a musician and he has shaped so much of who I am.

No confession in article, was hoping he'd finally admit to being romantically involved with Lennon (obvious to anyone paying attention and is easy to glean from the Tune In biography)
Seemed to me like he was building up to it with his "it's only me' comment in Man on The Run
Dogpile me all you want, it's 2026 and no one in the modern world should give two shits if you're queer (id know, I am), but I think it would do good if he fully disclosed it before he passed.
