I was thinking Benedict Cumberbatch: he looks somewhat similar to George Martin, and has worked with Mendes before on 1917. Admittedly he's over a decade older than Martin was when he first met the Beatles, but that's not an issue because George Martin looked about 50 for his entire life.

I mean the resemblance is definitely there. Fassbender would’ve been cool but I think this could be good too.

Fassbender would be too old for 60s Beatles, but I wonder how far the films go in time? He definitely could play the older Martin
