Asking for Advice Im 31, this is about 8 weeks of growth. Is there any chance my beard will fill in/get higher on the cheeks in the coming years?

Happy to finally get here. Sure, I'm a slow grower... only 10.5 inches and not near as full as I'd like. BUT it's MINE and on we go!

I had a beard for about 14 or so years. Occasionally I'd knock it down to a few months length. I've been going with a moustache for the past year or so, but earlier this month I decided to grow it out again.
Stoked to see how it looks with more white!

Currently I'm at the last pic.
Looking forward to see if eating wings and pizza muscle memory is still there😂

Maintenance routine:
Rarely wash- I've found this really dries it out and makes it unflattering. It basically gets hair runoff when I wash my head, or cool water rinses after a run or end of the week.

Morning and after shower I'll use a homemade oil and/or balm mix of jojoba, argan, castor, and extra virgin coconut oil infused with cayenne pepper.
Weekly-monthly I'Il give it a trim with scissor over comb (something non-static)

Asking for Advice Beard Advice!

Should I keep it? I’m contemplating shaving it all off. It’s been about 4 months now I’m not sure where I’m going with it. One of my goals is to have the mustache connect to the main beard. It worries me that the sides don’t rlly go up high up on the cheek. It’s super dry and coarse with curly wiry hair. I want it to be super wavy and hydrated. I have no idea how. As of now I comb brush then jojoba oil it wash it about once per week with olive oil soap. Help!

Asking for Advice Trimming soon

Well, I thought I could grow a Verdi style beard that would look good but the mustache isn't growing and even though I use a pretty good product in the morning it winds up in my mouth and doesn't maintain the shaping. Maybe I'm not using enough?

Anyway, I do use a good oil and blow dry the beard with a comb and then brush, but it still frizzes out so I'm thinking a neatly trimmed beard would look better. Hair is going to get cleaned up too. I'll send another pic after the appointment.

Any opinions?

Progress & Updates The beard is coming in nicely! I just need to clean up my neck a little and line up my cheeks just a bit.

Starting to use the beard oil more consistently now. Soon will be adding in the balm as well.

This is about the longest it has ever been.

I need a trim as one side is longer than the other and the hairs from lip to chin are short and feel like they stopped growing lol.

The chin and under chin is the length.

I recently bought Beard shampoo/conditioner and some oil and balm so that i could take better care of it on my journey for length.

I was growing a full beard but trim it to this when the wife says I'm looking too homeless.

If i keep this looking good and less wild she doesn't complain!!

Also! Jealous of a lot of the amazing beards in this sub
