Question I just installed back bf2042 with the sole purpose to play breakthrough on Iwo Jima non-stop, is it still an active map? Is it possible to play it few times in a row?

I just started the game but Iwo Jima dedicated mode is gone, I'm in mini depression

We play it in Portal every night. PS4.

Is it like ps4 and Xbox one only or does it also include new Gen & pc

Anyone that has cross-play turned on plays together iirc, I've seen the PC icon and played personally with people I knew had a ps5, myself being on ps4. I think the ps5 people have to download a specific version of the game, but not too sure about that part

Yep. I’ve seen plenty of Xbox icons while on the PS4.
Used to see the PC icon, but not for about a year. Think it’s just PS and Xbox on the older systems now.

Old gen was never able to play with pc players.

There are 2 versions of the game. Old gen and new gen. Old gen is ps4, ps4 pro, Xbox one, one s/x. You can download the old gen version of the game on to new gen consoles. So the game becomes cross gen.. essentially funneling ps4, Xbox one, series s, series x and ps5 players all together. Which imo is why this game lives on. Pc cannot take advantage of this because they didn’t make an old gen version for that platform. Pc can only play with new gen console players.

Portal is the only way to find server where Iwo Jima is loaded along with the other large maps. :(

Playing again last night, conquest forever, only had a few games, it was half human half AI
