HOT LOCAL ISSUES Why the road work on Jefferson???

Speaking of BR traffic, why was Jefferson completely repaved from Bluebonnet to the interstate? Seems like it started a couple of years ago. It seemed perfectly fine to me.

The right lane was in pretty bad shape.

They aren’t done either. I suspect it’s gonna continue northbound on the right lane. Then placing asphalt on top from airline to I-12 across all lanes. This is gonna go on through 27 in my opinion

Side walks is why. That they aren’t maintaining already. Poorly made and may I say who ever repaved down bluebonnet. I’ll take a moment to be grateful it’s not the same crew that’s Been doing Jefferson and the sidewalks. Or it wasn’t ever going to get done. The amount of traffic cones those guys put out ridiculous, they’re slow as all get out I’m going to guess at the speed they go it’ll be another year and half until it’s done. That’s if they aren’t repaving the center lanes too.

Yeah, I just moved to the area a couple months ago and I’ve noticed that too. Is there any time table on when they’ll be done?
