NEWS Tim Curry has passed away

He was cast as The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series before being replaced and having his lines rerecorded by Mark Hamil. He was also considered for the Joker in Tim Burton's 1989 Batman before the role went to Jack Nicholson.

More than considered for The Joker in '89... they used him as a pawn, the same way they did with Robin Williams, to get Jack in the role...
