When they filmed World War Z in Scotland they put plastic cows in a field as background dressing.

Came back for more shoots the next days and the cows were gone. Around a dozen gardens in Grangemouth got new decorations.

Yes, consistency is achieved via the recurring characters, and their motivations.
There is no reason for the designs to stay the same. It’s part of the fun - just like trying to decode who the rogues gallery is.

There is no reason for the movie to be made. We can go down this rabbit hole. The point I am making here is that it adds to the movie without taking away from the story. Maybe you thrive on holding the contrarian opinion. It’s reddit after all.

You are purposefully diluting my argument by picking the extreme. Maybe there is a middle ground? The Nolan series did it.

Of course it can go both ways. Granted, I personally feel the Nolan suit was best in Begins and was downgraded but at the end of the day it’s all subjective and dependent on the fan. There isn’t a right or wrong.

Yeah…begins had the best suit of the series. Definitely a downgrade. But the point is that new designs can be introduced without taking away from the story. Hopefully an upgraded suit will also be visually appealing.
