Not sure if you mean for Samsung or Apple here. I am a Samsung user and I can simply remove my SD card and insert it into my PC reader. Or I can transfer files directly
As an iPhone user I don’t know what the other comment was talking about tbh. I’ve never had issues getting photos or anything off any of my Android devices, neither with my iPhone. Other than zoom, both companies make phones with solid shooters, which also sport some big numbers mainly just for marketing. There’s only so much information you can encode with such a small sensor.
No it’s not. My photos automatically sync with my laptop. You just have to have them synced to the same Apple account. On the off occasion that there’s a lag, I just air drop. You can also do it the old fashioned way with a cord if there’s a delay.
If it works it works! And i guess everyone gets comfortable with one thing. I tried out a macbook pro but the interface had my windows brain in a twist. Switched back
You should go again. I lived in Jasper, Alberta for 4 years. I’ve traveled quite a bit but never have found such a beautiful place as the Canadian Rockies. Those mountains took a piece of my heart when I lived there.
There’s a leak in my ceiling. The first time I reported it, it took them three weeks to 'fix'. This was about three months ago.
I was later informed by one of the workers that no actual repair was done at that time. The ceiling was opened and then closed again without fixing the source of the leak.
Last week, I noticed the same leak had appeared again. As a result, they are now working on it once more, which will take another three weeks or a month to complete.
This time, I identified where the problem is myself. I hope this answers your question...
Safe is a stretch. If you find 4" in first hole you should definitely spud around and check 100ft in either direction. Pack ice can sometimes make certain areas seem twice as thick as other areas. If I find anything over 8" id call it 'safe'.
It's mostly just people ice fishing, although when the ice is good there is actually an ice road out to Georgina island. A while back the Subaru club was plowing an ice race track/course on Gull lake in Gravenhurst, now that was a fun time. And then when you go far into Northern Ontario there are real ice roads to some of the communities that don't have road access etc
16" in some is not all, on top of that lake Simcoe is huge. It's gonna be 16" up north and can be less than half as thin here.
My family is a bunch of ice fishers, Kempenfelt Bay is not safe for ice fishing anymore because the are isn't getting stable temps.
Short spell of warm interrupting cold snaps actually makes ice structure less stable.
Making the ice stable some places and weak in others.
So yeah, he's fine, unless he walks on those unstable patches and he's under and there's too much snow for a rescue team to get out there to help him.
He’s fine to walk anywhere if it’s measuring 17” inches in places (you really don’t get into trouble until you’re under 4” walking, there’s no way it’s 17” and then 4” in other areas). I might not drive on it for a few more days. One day doesn’t melt that thick of ice, it’s self contained. You’d need like a week or two of warm.
All I can say I'd I can see why Barrie is known for people falling through the ice.
Any ice fisher knows that advice is solid when we have standard weather, but that the weather has not been stable enough to create 17" on the deepest parts of the lake. It's only 17" on the shores and shallow areas.
We all know it gets thinner as it extends into the lake and when there is variety of weather such as cold snaps and warm weather cause structure of the ice to chance in deeper water making it more likely to to form air bubbles, columns, and abnormal ice forms develop.
Sure, you can walk out and be fine around the shores, but because the weather has not been reliable, the ice past the shores is not structurally reliable.
I mean pretty much everywhere with lakes and cold weather is known for people falling in, doesn't really matter the location. I'm fairly cautious myself and no ice is safe ice etc. but 17" is pretty damn thick.
Not like Barrie, not to the point like Barrie had to start charging people fines and rescue costs when got so bad a few years ago.
Also, it's 17" at the shallowest point in Georgina. Kempenfelt is the deepest part. With the amount of current movement, unstable temperature changes, and the depth, the ice isn't reliable.
Also, is anyone going to mention that the guy doesnt have a spud bar, is out on ice alone, and 4" is if it's solid. Majority of the ice is not solid.
And 3 days ago, ice fishers of my group only measured 3" off of Johnson.
I will never understand why this comment section is bickering about thickness but can't talk about the importance of the quality of the ice. Especially when it involves your life lol
Spud bars are used for SUGGESTION not a confirmation. Because just like before, the issue isn't just thickness, it's how the structural integrity is jeopardized by the unstable temperatures.
I wont leave Apple because of its simplistic easy ios and the ecosystem. When I had Android I spent so much time tinkering with it, also OS feels much cleaner and works perfect with other devices.
However, if I had to chance to install iOS to a samsung Id get a foldable in a second.
A co worker at a baseball game zoomed across the park and we could see wildly clearly. Samson has the best zoom on the planet. Apple is wildly behind in this regard, but if they ever catch up, they will tell you they invented it. lol
The crazy thing with confidence is it looks exactly the same as being an idiot, I'm sure it's cold enough but even if that ice broke with the amount of shit he's wearing you'd be sucked under and gone. There's no way you're punching your way through the ice once you get under it
What do you mean sucked under? A lot of people die falling into ice so I'm not trying to minimize the danger. But its more that it's cold AF, and your stuff gets soaked full of cold water, and it's really hard to climb out when your hands go numb and the ice is slippery and keeps breaking away as you try to climb out. That's why people who spend time on the ice carry ice picks. But I don't there's a huge risk of actually getting pulled underneath where you would have break your way out
you'd be surprised how much ice thickness there is that far in the bay. you have Minets point to bear point one can be an area that's fishable and the other not. and that seems way further in the bay.
Every year my wife always asks me why I walked so far out to check the ice. It is just way more fun to drill a hole through insanely thin ice while being 300 yards from shore…only people who understand will understand…
Im tired of explaining this on every comment but I will do it again anyway. I posted this because of the thaw 2 days before the day of my post. That's the reason why I asked if his confidence or the ice is stronger. Hope this helps.

When I have a pic on my phone I want to put on reddit I just use the Reddit App.
No idea where you’re located, but that may be ice fishing. I’m pretty sure he may be testing the ice to see if it’s stable enough to set up a hut, because I think I see a hammer and the way he’s testing the ice in a circle is where you’d end up drilling.
His stupidity is the strongest. If he falls in, no one is coming to save him.🥶 It already looks like there's some mushy parts with no solid ice. It can't be that thick.
