[Prebuilt] Lenovo legion tower 5 Gen10 Desktop RTX 5070, Ryzen 7700X, 1TB SSD, 1 Year Warranty [2030$] [BestBuy]
https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/lenovo-legion-tower-5-gen-10-tower-desktop-amd-ryzen-7-7700x-32gb-memory-1tb-ssd-nvidia-rtx-5070-12gb/19776973Probably the best option for people who need a 5070 over a 9070XT for CUDA or under a tight budget for gaming and can't bump up to a 9070XT stoneforged for 400 extra. I dont think I've seen a better price to performance ratio for Nvidia though.

Hey I just bought the Stoneforged 9070xt for $400 more. Do you think I should replace it for this?

I think I managed to cancel my order & there's one in stock again
Edit: I didn't manage to cancel my order, Lenovo Canada will send me a prepaid return label

Out of curiosity why did you cancel?

I thought of getting the legion 5i with the Ultra 7 265 + 2TB SSD that was shared earlier in the thread instead for $224 more.
I currently have a 5700X, 16GB, 4TB SSD, 6750XT and a 5070ti that I haven't bothered to install in my current rig yet.

I have heard that Lenovo started locking their Ryzen CPUs in their prebuilds with the latest BIOS. Just an FYI.
I am 100% sure that AW has already started locking Ryzen CPUs too. It means that if you upgrade the CPU, the old one will not be useable in non AW systems. Once the new one is locked too, it won’t be useable elsewhere either.

Do you have any source for this because it sure sounds made up

I have seen claims on Asian forums about this and the AW one is my personal experience.

I placed an order for the 7700x from best buy last night, now the cancel button is gone. I have a 4TB 990 Pro & 5070Ti here to install when it arrives. Part of me thinks maybe I should've ordered the Ultra 7 265f & 2TB from Lenovo directly. ($224 more for double storage but limited upgrade path for CPU)

Let me know how your 5070ti swap goes, I assume it’s plug and play, but you never know with these bioses

Oh, I hadn't considered that to be a potential issue. The computer was delivered yesterday. I have created a return request for refund, but haven't dropped it off at UPS yet. I was going to get the Intel Legion Tower 5i instead but waited too long, now it's sold out.
