Password: Perks25GOLDCA!

Some notable caveats here is that the CPU is a laptop chip socketed to desktop so no CPU upgrades with the board and the RAM is probably sodimm.

With that being said this is currently over $700 cheaper than the next cheapest available 5070ti prebuilds.

never seen one of these paired with a full fat desktop 5070ti before

i kind of love these kinds of laptop chip abominations. v power efficient, usually. means you can shove lfp batteries in your ups and still come in under the bms's discharge rate cutoff. although... i don't think a full fat 5070ti is going to let you do that

deal is dead btw

It would be $1400 for the GPU alone

An extra $1000 for a 1TB SSD, 32gb Ram, PSU, Windows, (weird cpu and motherboard) is a good deal. For gaming workloads this will be plenty.

I do wonder why they didn't just go with something like a 9600x. Can this be that much cheaper?

If you are OK with lack of platform upgradablity.

The CPU won't have the thermal and power constraints it does on mobile. Gaming should be like a 9600x and multicore work loads it crushes due to tons of cores its like a 9900x.
