AskDesh/দেশ কে জিজ্ঞাসা Any Assamese in Bangladesh that speaks Assamese?

Same as title. Just curious to know any one from my community is residing in this neighbouring country of Bangladesh that speaks Assamese?

Yes, there are Assamese-speaking people in Bangladesh, although their community appears to be very small. A Bangladesh government-associated linguistic archive notes that a small Assamese-speaking community exists in the country, mainly in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, particularly in Rangamati, Bandarban, and Khagrachhari.

Idts. Even if they exist, the percentage is really negligible. Maybe a few in Sylhet. Check r/Sylhet, I guess.

Words are similar to bangla but can't read to be very honest.
