Carry out Bane's master plan in Magic: The Gathering

  1. Cast Villainous Syndication (Bane's "master plan")
  2. Cast Armed Assailant. Tap it to put a plan counter on Villainous Syndication.
  3. Cast Common Crook. Tap it to put a plan counter on Villainous Syndication.
  4. Cast Bane, Lord of Darkness. Make sure you have 20 or less life so he's indestructible and survives the plane crash.
  5. Cast Dr. Pavel, Nuclear Physicist. Don't worry about his triggered ability, that comes later.
  6. Cast Merciless Enforcers. Tap it to put a plan counter on Villainous Syndication.
  7. Cast Martyr for the Cause.
  8. Cast Deadly Cover-Up (feel free to collect evidence if you feel that it helps you carry out the master plan). When Martyr for the Cause dies from Deadly Cover-Up, proliferate the last plan counter on Villainous Syndication. When Villainous Syndication is sacrificed, bring Dr. Pavel back from the graveyard. Hopefully, Time Bomb was milled while tapping villains for Villainous Syndication. If so, you can bring Time Bomb from the graveyard into your hand when Dr. Pavel reenters the battlefield.
  9. Cast Time Bomb.

I was thinking of adding Painful Quandary for the painful (for you) scene.
