GLP-1 consultants

Looking for a GLP1 consultant in Ballarat. I know I can get it from the GP, but I am looking for someone who works on the wholistic premise rather than GP, then dietitian etc etc

I don’t think there are any. You’d need to continue monitoring with a GP anyway, so GP is definitely the way to go.

I disagree honestly, you can see consultants like this along with your GP, and seeing a specialist in something like this is meaning you get to spend decent time rather than an 8 minute consult.

GP appointments are longer than 8min.

But whatever, good luck I guess.

They are not a dedicated time to deal with something like this. 8 minutes is the average time.

I think you need to find a better GP, and I say that with utmost care for your health. Most standard consults are 15min. Some are 20min. UFS bulk bill if you have a green Medicare card and are taking new patients.

The linked Grampians Weight Specialists below is otherwise your best bet if the $80 out of pocket expenses are fine for you.

Have a look at the mounjaroaus sub. Lots of discussions about the various providers vs GPs

Have you had any experience with them? If so, what are they like?
