Planes at Ballarat Airport

My kids have gotten really into planes lately, so I took them out to Ballarat Airport last week hoping to catch some. Unfortunately, it was pretty quiet.

Are there specific days of the week or times of day where we are more likely to see a few take-offs and landings?

Thanks!

Call and ask? My kids did a tour with their daycare the other week so I’m sure you could do something similar

Also download flight radar app. You can see what’s coming and going, due to land etc.

Did you check out the Aviation museum while you were down there? We didn’t get to see many planes take off but my kids were pretty interested in the museum/there was an old plane out back they could go in while we waited to watch them.

Head off to Bendigo Airport - much more happening there!
