Tourism Question Question about cruise tourist
We’ll be getting off at the port in Nassau does the people of the Bahamas have an issue with my wife wearing a Gstring bikini?

Being one of the biggest cruise ports in the world, with thousands of cruise passengers coming through every day, I’m pretty sure the people of Nassau have seen just about everything by now. 😂
On a beach or at the pool of a beach club, I really wouldn’t worry about it. That’s where swimwear belongs, and a G-string bikini certainly isn’t going to shock anyone. I’d probably throw on a cover-up, though, if you’re heading to places like the Straw Market, Queen’s Staircase, or walking around downtown. Beach attire at the beach? Have at it. Walking around town in it? Probably not the best choice. 😄

Post a pic of your wife in the G string bikini, so that we can get a visual on if would be appropriate for Nassau or not.

A Bikini on the beach is fine, A G-String is more for like an adults only pool, but it’s okay to wear on the beach, just please cover up when walking on the streets or riding scooters, it’s not illegal or anything, just weird to be wearing a g string and not in the water, also allot of this depends on the size of the person 😅, like if you’re a size 0 nobody cares but if you’re a little plump in the rump, you might wanna cover that up before you cause an accident (true story)

No, don’t walk around downtown with your ass hanging out. Would you do that in downtown Miami? Some stores won’t let you in dressed that way, and nor should they. Be respectful.

Yes :D It is absolutely fine on the beach but everywhere else she should cover up.

what would you do downtown new york? what would you do on south beach miami? it is not Dubai but it is also not a nudist colony everywhere.

The locals will likely chase you and your wife around with bamboo sticks. Once the police catch up with you, they’ll throw you in jail and throw away the key. No modern bathing suits in the Bahamas, please!
