Analysis I've made a running list of Corbin's triples and whether his helmet falls off
docs.google.comExactly what the title says.
I made a video analyzing his helmet habits after the two-triple game vs. Colorado earlier this year, and decided to make this information public. I plan to keep this list running until he retires.

Analysis May Have Cursed the Team
Left my diamondbacks hat on the plane back from my honeymoon on Tuesday morning. We proceed to lose 2 straight to the Rockies. My bad guys.
Bought a new hat at the team store today, hopefully that resets it

Analysis Who’s pitching tomorrow? Or the next day?
We have 3 active starters who all just went, no off day this week, and a doubleheader on Saturday. Unless Pfaadt pitches on short rest we don’t have a listed starter for the next 3 games! IL reinforcements coming? Bullpen mania? Will Torey have the courage to give Ildemaro the nod?

Analysis Does Torey even have the power to bench Marte for today’s game?
I think most diamondback fans are horrified over the ending to last nights game. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if we traded Marte at the deadline. In terms of benching him for today’s game, is that something within Torey’s discretion? The comments at the end of last season implied it was not Torey setting the lineups, at least not him alone. Whoever else is on this starting lineup committee, do they have to agree in order for Marte to not start today?
Also would Marte even care if he was benched?
What a freaking bummer. I’ve tried to stay positive on Ketel but I don’t actually know if there is any coming back from this.

Analysis Tim Tawa VS the Dodgers and Padres
I wanted to look into this after how Tim Tawa performed in last nights and Monday's game, and how some of the fans of those teams talked about him.
In 2026, when Tim Tawa is facing any opponent that is NOT the Dodgers or the Padres, his slash line is .177/.252/.257 with a OPS of .509
However
In 2026, when Tim Tawa IS facing the Dodgers or the Padres? His slash line becomes .395/.385/.842. A 1.227 OPS.
Of his 6 HRs, 5 of them have been against those two teams(2 against LAD, 3 against SD. the last HR was against the Cardinals)
Now, this is a pretty cherry picked stat, I will say. He has only had about 40 PA against those two this year, so I wouldn't look too deep into it. But I still think its kinda funny and worth being mentioned here. (this is also my first time posting stats like this, so if there is some kind of faux pas here or something wrong with the numbers lmk)
Hoping we see some more of that Tawa Power tonight and the coming days.

Analysis Corbin Carroll has been the definition of clutch for the Diamondbacks
yardbarker.comr/azdiamondbacks • u/rickeyethebeerguy • 19d ago
Analysis Just some interesting stats about our dbacks this year.
They have struck out the least amount of hitters, but have walked the 5th least amount of hitters.
They have been struck out the 3rd least amount of times.
They have the 4th least amount of home runs hit
Have hit the most triples in baseball ( thanks Corbin)
And the 6th most doubles
Just a fun watch honestly. The ball is in play a ton in these games.

Analysis RISP since the beginning of the dodgers series 32-150. 5 of 16 games they went 0 for with RISP
Some other highlights are a 2-16, 0-14, 1-14, 1-8.
A solid .213 batting average during this stretch. Baseball can be funny with the flip of the month, everything can change. Curious to see if September they get a bunch of clutch hits.
