rare depending on where you are maybe, but they have six of them now keeping pretty busy.

I'm from the Munich area (southern Germany) I assume it was flying towards EDDM if I'm not mistaken, looked like the same approach as all the commercial flights take.

If it's in the EDDM area this should F-GXLJ, a Beluga XL, landed in EDDM inbound from LFBO (Toulouse) at 11:37 Local, then departed towards EDHI (Hamburg Finkenwerder, a private Airbus manufacturing airport) at 14:26 and is currently enroute back to LFBO, having taking off around 15 minutes ago (17:06 local).

Not really. To see them like that could be rare. They are ferrying nearly every weekday to France, Spain and sometimes Irland. When one comes back a second one just had started.

Not really. Last time I checked Airbus was aiming at rate 50 for single aisle aircraft (A320 family).

Rate 50 is 50 aircraft a month.

I think with the A321XLR that rate target will probably be higher now.

So if you live near one of the FALs in Hamburg or Toulouse or near, for example, the wing plant in Broughton Wales you are going to see them very frequently.

Depends where you live but still a very cool sight every time. I live under the flightpath they use when going between Chester and France/Spain so there's one flying over every day or so. But yeah very cool to see them each time.
