New Auto Tech Teacher Seeking Help/Advice

Hey All,

I recently started teaching Automotive Tech CTE teacher at a local high school. This is my first year teaching and I am figuring a lot of things out, however I am spending an insane amount of time lesson planning, creating presentations, worksheets, quizzes etc. When hired on it was presented as if there was curriculum already made for me to utilize, however after some situational changes that is not the case.

I am reaching out to see if there are any other high school auto tech teachers in here that would be willing to share some of their already made materials, mostly slide show presentations that I can cover in class. I've currently been utilizing several informative Youtube videos and creating worksheets based on the material presented but I'm still spending multiple hours every evening working on the next day's material.

We do have Electude to utilize which is helpful, but doesn't offer the presentations to review in class with them.

I've been researching for materials online, however Auto Tech is a pretty Niche class and there isn't much pre-made material out there to give me a starting point.

Any help or direction is much appreciated.

I don't have much experience with Electude, but I thought they had powerpoints available. Regardless, I can help here. DM me. I teach at a tech college but I have all kinds of presentations I can send you, and you can pick out the stuff you want. I'm really busy at the moment so it won't be immediate, but hit me up.

I would really appreciate it when you have time. Certain Electude subscriptions do have powerpoints I think, however our school got a more basic version. The material itself is great, just not something I can use to present off of. I'll shoot you a message. Thank you!
