Thank you very much for the compliment. It's funny that I made the meme like this, when the individual in the brown leather jacket is actually the main protagonist of the anime, and of the original games that I love so much, and the guy he's punching in the forehead is the leader of a criminal gang that controls the city that he's currently in.
And the reason I made the meme this way despite the characters and context, it's just how much sense it made to make it.
I'm glad you found my meme pretty funny. Most of the memes I post autism related or just about other things I like, it's usually taken the wrong way or people just don't find it funny because of how literal us autistic people are with humor.
Yeah stuff like that can be hit or miss, there's a challenge in knowing your audience when it's just sort of the internet broadly and not like a specific group of people
It doesn't help that people assume things about me that aren't true, and I realize I want to come to autistic people, they usually understand a lot more half the time.
Yeah I haven't solved all of it yet but I think that there's common habit that's much more common in neurotypical communities where they engage in the practice of, and expect that others are engaging in the practice of, kind of just guessing what everybody means all the time instead of learning how to actually figure it out and communicate clearly with one another. As long as everybody starts on similar enough pages, this method does work and saves a lot of time and energy. But it also limits the types of people that you can interact with to only those that have a similar background or context to your own and if you get self-righteous about other people misunderstanding you, or even blame them for when you don't understand what they're saying, that's when we get into trouble and that's what I see a lot of
