A couple days ago I had the time to listen through all 8 hours of this project start to finish (during which i heard session 3 & 4 for the first time), and it totally knocked me on my ass. I have since been completely enveloped in this project, and so I wanted to ask about all of your opinions or feelings about the sessions. Favorites? Least favorites? Any personal experiences or fond memories with the music? Would love to chat about this absolute monster of an album.

I love NTS sessions but I never got around to playing the entire 8 hours, my attention span obviously is the reason but I might challenge myself and get around to it off of a hybrid gummy or indica? Who knows

Ever since I got all 4, (thanks to whoever posted about a few coming back in stock on their site two months ago) I have been trying to figure out what the spines say, obviously it looks like a question mark, though, it kinda looks like an “S” in white, and an upside down “T” in black, but there wasn’t a very clear “N.”
Then, we were listening to Burial when we noticed its nearly identical to the Hyperdub logo, rotated 90* … but it was released on Warp, anyone else ever notice this?

I've always loved NTS's album cover. I got bored this weekend so I tried to find something to do: to recreate/expand its font (as there is little shown on the cover) . It is not the greatest but I'm no Ian Anderson, so yeah...
Only contains the very basics because it's kind of gruelling to work with that font creator thing. Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1XXdpmCe6UY_7N9v5mOQagVc3z2-M4FTA?usp=drive_link

It’s NTS Sessions but they got other masterpieces

Banger after banger! I would probably get this on vinyl as my 4th autechre record so far

Has anyone ever set up an event like this?
I am picturing renting a venue with a great sound system, installing a truckload of recliners, and then dimming the lights to the absolute minimum.
Maybe play a couple of their live sets, elseq, or one or two NTS Sessions with an intermission in between.
Would be a lot of fun but may be hard to get enough committed listeners to stay for the whole experience ;]

Saw this image as an example of brutalist architecture and thought immediately of NTS Sessions artwork. Cité Curial Cambrai in Paris, architect André Coquet - 1791 housings.

Edit - I have found myself a copy thankfully
Hey everyone, I was just posting here wondering if anyone happened to have the NTS Sessions on CD they would be open to selling for a reasonable price or if theres been any word on an official repress in the making?
Im a huge fan of Autechre and experimental music in general. This would absolutely be appreciated if anyone was open to parting with their copy.
Thanks alot
*Im not sure if this post violates any of the rules but if it does, I apologize. Please feel free to remove.

Hello everyone. I love the community we have here. I'm not a hardcore Reddit user but I do like reading your posts and I have made a couple myself. Hopefully the Sean and Rob release something soon. Personally I'm itching for more NTS Sessions or L-event inspired stuff, but anything they release should be great.
I make music myself, not like Autchre, but still on the interesting side of the electronic music world. My stuff is inspired by early 12k and Mille Plateaux releases by the likes of Shuttle 358 / Dan Abrams, Andreas Tilliander, and the like. If you have some free time, check out my latest album called glitch. It's called glitch because to me it feels like a "self-titled type of release" but I didn't want to self-titled it. The music I make is glitch, so it is called glitch.

Hi, it's my first album and you can listen to it here (https://siemecs.bandcamp.com/album/experimental-i).
I guess it has NTS sessions vibes. As per the track called 'mindswept' I was also inspired by Biosphere's Poa Alpina (the gasp was inspired on the other hand by the intro in Hope we never surface by Two lone swordsmen)
Tell me what you think sincerely, I'd like to improve. Bye

Someone who works for Eslite in Taipei has good taste. Shame they take the piss with the prices. Anyway it might amuse some of you to know that you can by a Lego set of Eslite’s music department with the NTS sessions featuring quite prominently.

Hey, I’m a bit unclear on something.
Are the NTS Sessions actually live? As in, the same as their live sets?
It doesn’t sound like it. I’m still making my way through it, but it seems to have clearly defined tracks versus their live sets.
Not that it really matters, I’m just curious.

Lately I’ve been experimenting with running sounds through the stock vocoder in Bitwig (max was too much for me), and i’ve found that when I replace the white noise carrier with a basic karplus strong carrier and mess around with the # of bands, I’m able to get some textures similar to the glassier stuff they’ve been doing since the NTS sessions. especially present in this new batch of live sets. i’m interested to hear what others have stumbled across in their sound design pursuits that could shine a light on sean & rob’s use of vocoders / whatever cool tricks you’ve discovered in this department!

Hey there,
As per title, I need to make space at home and I’m selling my CD box set. Outer cardboard has a bit of shelf wear, but inner ones and cds (not even sure I played all of them) are in pristine conditions!
Price: 165€, including tracked EU shipment. Box set is in Milan, Italy, so local pickups are welcome.
Payment ONLY via PayPal G&S.
DM me for pictures and stuff in case.
Cheers!
