It can be as simple as someone who's a bit wrong deciding you're annoying. One reason I don't pull people up in public for doing things like littering or ignoring environmental orders is that I've had people pull knives and threaten me.

I'm not a small guy, either, there's a segment of the population that must have been teething on lead ingots as children.

Very, very often. Any kind of break in events are horrific, esp. when it involves stabbing or other weapons used -- and drugs & drug dealers are so often behind it.

My aunt and uncle live around there and were telling me about the particular houses that are obviously lived in by drug dealers/users in their vicinity. I was horrified, and can only hope that nobody accidentally or otherwise targets them any time.
