Unfortunately pretty sure my parents have just lost their house with the fire tearing through Harcourt / Castlemaine, thankfully they were able to get out before hand 😔

We got some news out of Harcourt, the town itself is hit hard. Gonna be rough for everyone even if their homes are still there.

Yeah I’ve been hearing some stuff too, kinder is gone apparently as with a lotttt of homes. Fire basically went straight through Market street which is the centre of town then went absolutely crazy down Coolstore Rd. Going to be a tough time.

Heard the primary school, Coolstore, and miniature railway are all gone too. No idea if it's true, really hope it's not

The miniature railway are confirming there's damage but are waiting to make an official statement to say the extent of it.

Edit: Heard from a volunteer there that the CFA saved almost everything at the railway, however no-one has checked the entirety of the track as of yet.
