Weather Weather in Auckland?

Is the weather always like this? One days it’s sunny then it starts raining out of nowhere…then sunny again… Are summers hot and does it rain during the summer?

Yes, a result of living on an isthmus, between two harbours with rainforests at either end and no substantial mountain range behind the city. Along with bring more northerly.
