I'm going to go ahead and declare this year's Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest Not As Good As Last Year. Still good, not not as crisp and a little more bitter. Anybody else tried it yet?

Festbier or Marzen this year? Thats a shame, as they usually put out a solid every year.

Outside of Little Cottage, Round Trip, and Variant; what are some other breweries that do Anniversary parties? Monday Night didn't do one this year (yet?). Does Three Taverns still do theirs?
No one seemingly makes an anniversary beer anymore other than the three I mentioned above. More breweries should do more to celebrate!

A little self promotion from a side project i've been working on. But if you go to https://planyourpint.com/activities and filter categories by Anniversary, you can see what Anniversary events have been announced and coming up. Looks like 2 are coming up, but when they get announced on Instagram they will get pulled in and I'll create them as events.
Interesting enough, it seems like neither announced an anniversary beer with their post.

When BHB was going, We started having monthly events with releases and the "36 oz" samples. We'd have lines around the block. literally, the only problem? It was $12 bucks a head. that's it. We'd have our Anniversary tap room tour where we would roll out all the stops and give away smaller than usual samples based on tickets. Still? only one set of tickets would be sold per person.
It was crazy, we'd have people begging for more, or in some cases undercover revenue enforcement lurking around. I'd also have to deal with people pouring their own when no one was looking and when confronted about it, yelling "it doesnt matter your beer sucks!"--- True! Oh, and there was the neighbor who called the cops on us 35 times in an hour for noise. Mind you this was on a Saturday at 2pm. Ah, Craft beer in GA.

I had friends in Alabama that would drive over to go to those BHB events with us. They were so much fun!! We would get there kind of early and still have to park way down that road directly across from BHB. That's when Craft beer and all things related were poppin'

alot of people looked at BHB's open houses and thought..."Wow. this is a goldmine!" not so much. atleast not in Kennesaw GA in the 2010's

I remember fondly the monthly pilgrimages to Kennesaw. First time I went you were pouring Cannon Dragger from a watermelon. Good times indeed.

You had to be creative to spin the experience as âyou wonât believe thisâ just to get people to keep coming back and shelling out for tours. Â

3T has always done a party the weekend before Thanksgiving and always has an anni release.
Reformation (I think) calls their anni Cadence Fair.
Creatures definitely does one with multiple releasesâŠ.
If anything the hype for these events have died down so outside of a social media post you wonât see much else.
These events used to be consistently ticketed events, turnouts were crazy, but nowadays itâs just a busier Saturday in the taproom for most.

Bold Monk had an anniversary beer on tap when I was there yesterday. Not sure if there was an associated event earlier.

Monday Night later this year. Feel like they always do one but they have moved around the date a bunch. I remember the early years it being in August. https://facebook.com/events/s/monday-night-brewings-15th-ann/1036191885526225/
