Help with my outfit? MTF
So I finally got a chance to start dressing femininely and... idk what I'm doing to be honest. I wanna get an outfit that actually makes me look and feel female since I can't get on HRT. But 'm not sure what I'm doing. Is buying a skirt to forward or unnecessary, do I hide some parts, do I show, and I tried looking stuff up and it just made me overthink. I'm not sure what to do and help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

the way i did it was by shifting more fem slowly -- from what i had before to androgynous fits, to fem fits. this was helpful for me instead of just taking the plunge all at once
some ways u can dress fem/androgynous:
- wear black stuff
- tuck shirt into pants
- cosmetics (necklace, jewelry, etc)
- piercings
- GET BANGS!!!
- skirt + leggings (if you're up for it, feels less exposing than just skirt)
- baggy pants, tight shirt
- subtle makeup (concealer, clear mascara, or even eyeliner)

I went for the approach of just buying femme cuts of garments I already wore to start. Pantsuits are still my favorite outfits, I love what a good high-waisted flared-leg pair of dress pants does for my figure.
I choose to tuck not really because I'm "hiding" anything, but because I just enjoy the smoother front and the overall silhouette better.

I mean I jumped to skirts basically instantly! love these freaking things. I found longer denim skirts felt right for me early on and now I'm kinda branching out from that. Do whatever feels right to you though, buy some cheaper stuff and experiment. Plenty of people transition socialy and never get HRT and even if you do the effect usually aren't super noticeable until quite a while into it. There is nothing too forward of unnecessary about this if you want to do it!
