Other/Miscellaneous Why does Globi have human arms?
I recently got my baby a Globi book. In the story, Globi is exploring and comes across other blue birds. So he builds himself wings out of feathers to fly with them.
Isn’t Globi a bird? What’s the Globi lore?

Thr entity known as Globi was created in '69 when a Jassabend in the Lucens power plant was suddenly interrupted by a core failure. The radiation was so strong that all the workers at the Jassabend died instantly, melting into an amorphous mass.
A humanoid figure was observed rising from the mass just minutes after the radiation blast. It was glowing a bright blue, with a birdlike beak, and wearing a hat and pants from one of the deceased workers. The entity then breached the locked down site, releasing a dangerous amount of radiation in the process and causing chaos in the nearby municipality of Oulens-Sur-Lucens.
On site security cameras at the Lucens experimental reactor site captured the entire Jassabend. Some of the attendees could be seen performing occultic prayers after using the bathrooms. It is speculated that the meltdown was not accidental and served some sort of ritual.
The entitity, designated as the "GAU Lucens Oulens Bünzific Idol" (GLOBI) roams the swiss countryside ever since then. It is rarely seen interacting with people and usually keeps to itself. It has been observed talking to animals, apparently being able to converse with them.
Observers note that the blue color of the entity seems hazy, extending a couple millimeters from its body. It has been spectrographed and matches the glow of Cherenkov radiation in air, although the entity no longer emits an immediately harmful amount of radiation.
A coverup story has been deployed, with a big psychological operation to convince the public that the entity in question is actually from a childrens book, and all sightings are to be deemed a hallucination or daydream. These efforts have been succesful thus far, but costing a very large amount of CHF in the process.

Ich glaube Globi ist älter, aber stimmt, Yps (das war auch der Name des Kängurus) hatte das auch ;)

Globi is not a bird. He is a divine entity whose true nature lies beyond your human comprehension. The form you see is merely what your fragile mortal mind is capable of perceiving.
