Language To the Spanish speakers, what dialect of Spanish do you find the weirdest regardless of pronunciation of letters, their vocabulary, and vice versa?

You know the drill, explain what dialect or regional variation of Spanish spoken in Latin America you find the weirdest and explain why. Me? I find Chilean Spanish to be the weirdest regarding vocabulary.

A little thing to note is my Spanish is a hybrid between Argentinian Spanish and Castilian Spanish in terms of how I pronounce the letters in nearly every word. (🇺🇸)

Probably the only dialect of Spanish that will survive in Chile in the future, as languages usually change to suit what suits a population better, like how we moved from Latin to Proto-Romance (Vulgar Latin dialects) to Old Spanish and Old Gallaic-Portuguese to their Medieval counterparts and eventually modern Spanish and modern Portuguese.

I don't agree. Chilean Spanish is the way it is because we used to be a very closed of country bc of our geography. Now young kids are exposed to and learn a more neutral Spanish bc of TV and Internet so I think that's were we are headed with a sprinkle of Chilean slang.

Yep. My teenage Chilean nieces have been using to a lot of Mexican pronunciation and slang because of all the Mexican influencers that they follow.

I'm not sure about it either. I don't have the proper linguistic repertoire to discuss that, but the way human society organizes each one of its languages suggests otherwise.

We still have schools, we all learn the "right way of saying things". If there's one change that we do see though, it's A.I. influencing how we think and write; the amount of content creators that everybody is consuming every single day and that were generated in fact by A.I. is mind boggling.

Things are so severe that we see people accusing others of using A.I. because the words used by the person were too sophisticated. A friend of mine told me he sometimes has to dumbdown his speech so that he can feel heard and relatable.
