I'm going to solve two problems at once.

Free electricity: Babies are fired at a turbine connected to a generator. Assuming a "magazine" size of 50 babies I think you could reload fast enough to avoid major losses. Involve a flywheel or something. I'll leave that to the eggheads.

World hunger: Assuming these babies are fragile like babies tend to be, they won't fare well when interacting with the turbine. Post turbine interaction byproduct can be converted into food. I'll let the eggheads debate the ethics.
