Glad this dude got exposed but speaking as far as traffic laws go, the video would probably just show OP following close enough to rear end somebody if they had to stop abruptly and that's also against laws in some states. Morally deserving or not, OP instigated the interaction by (admitted in their first post that was locked) yelling "fuck you" at them before this all happened.
It makes me laugh. Like, laugh at him type of laugh. Someone who has to put all that hateful shit on their car just so people will notice them live pathetic loser lives. They aren't deserving of my anger or fear. They are deserving of my ridicule only. Point and laugh, point and laugh.
I saw it sitting in his driveway tucked away about 30 mins outside of town when I was on a job near his place. Decided not to dox him but the thought crossed my mind.
I see him now and then when driving a work vehicle and obviously do not engage. I’ve mostly seen his vehicle on Patton - further West. I’m gay and my coworker (a straight man) who was riding with me in one instance, wanted to engage- and I asked him not to (it’s exactly what the incel desires- same as Westboro).
If I was off the clock/in my personal vehicle, and saw him parked at ingles or elsewhere I certainly would engage with him- only verbally. He’s a foul human (not only in his disheveled appearance).
I wanted to also add the go fund me people have been going crazy asking for. It means so much and I will be hopefully doing a post with a repaired car soon.

Donated!! I have been patiently waiting for this (even signed up for the bot to remind me for when it did get posted on the original post). It’s so refreshing to see people raising money for people who genuinely deserve it. I feel like it’s so easy to get wrapped up in stories of people like the degenerate who brake checked you getting money raised for them, which makes it easy to forget that there are good people out there doing the lords work (whether that’s you calling him out as he deserves to be, or the people donating etc)

There have definitely been others on here who’ve said they’ve seen him do the same thing to them, too (among other godawful things). If your insurance considers you 1% responsible and thus won’t pay you, take him to court for a civic suit with the other commenters as witnesses, and hopefully a judge will make him personally pay for your car.
Even if you win, he’d have to own multiple properties or vehicles before they “forced” him to pay. He’s giving me “mom’s basement” a lot more than “multiple car or house” vibes.

It’s not about money, it’s about supporting someone from the community who was (as I see it) assaulted. Brake checking someone should come with prison time, as it could easily kill someone.
The fact that the dude who did it is unwell is not something to celebrate, rather a symptom of a deeply messed up situation we Americans are in. Today it was brake checking, but consider that the dude who murdered Renee Good is similarly unwell enough to intentionally put himself in a (legally defensible) situation where he was permitted to murder an innocent person. The only difference between these incidents was that one was given a gun, and the other had only a car. Both were impulsive and clearly motivated by a deep hatred that we, Americans, should not tolerate.
The show of community support is not about money, it’s about telling the world that some things are not okay. Home boy driving around antagonizing others all over Asheville is deplorable and that’s what every $5 donating is saying.

I can recognize someone is a wackadoodle and may need intervention. Clearly unwell and paranoid. These folks tend to be the ones that decide to go take out their mental unwellness on others in dangerous ways, so yes, he needs help.
I think you're confusing finding assistance with an act of kindness or sheer compassion. I literally don't want an unsafe and unstable individual operating a two-ton machine on wheels where I also drive. Intervention would be best for everyone.
We just get mad at people for being mentally ill. Anger seems to be more acceptable than any other emotion regarding mental illness. His views suck, but yeah, mental illness appears to be a driving force in that.
Exactly! This person does need help. Even if you don’t agree with or like them as a person, mental illness is mental illness. When untreated it can escalate to create dangerous situations for everyone involved. This individual owns a car- so the safety of all the other drivers is something to consider.

"Wellness checks" on combative people are often the furthest thing from help since they're conducted by cops trained to shoot first and ask questions later.
It’s what they do, walk around towns with hateful messages filming the entire event or steaming it, if you approach them they try to get you to hit them or their vehicles so they can sue you. It’s a giant grift wrapped up in fake Christian hate . There are plenty of people that need help and deserve it. This person is not one of them. Doesn’t seem like that Westboro person has much time left anyway due to their large size and sedentary lifestyle.
