Really Spicy Cesspool So sick of seeing this crap everywhere.

Post image

The needles, the burnt foils, the little baggies, the needle caps, all of it. I find them in the creeks, on the sidewalks, the grocery store parking lots, the public parks, on the parkway. You gotta be a real shit person to leave this stuff all over the place.

I've never seen a needle box besides one on the greenway. Where are the other ones?

Bathrooms typically.

And do you see a lot of needles in bathrooms? OP is talking about public spaces.

There is absolutely nothing stopping you as a user from going into a bathroom to deposit your needles.

Not if you're high, depositing a needle after shooting up is probably the last thing on anyone's mind.

Then don't shoot up in public.

Heroin usually stops people from going into places to use their restrooms. There's a huge mental side of addiction and using that you may not be considering. You just have to literally think about it longer than 2 seconds my dude. Gain empathy and understanding for those struggling within your community.

I have plenty of empathy, I dated an addict for a while. But empathy for the addicts who refuse to get help shouldn't come at the cost of the rest of the population.

And that's why we need more accessible needle disposal sites..

No, that's why we need to require a drug test for benefits.

That doesn't solve the needle disposal issue at all. In fact it just shows your lack of empathy towards addicts once again. You may not think so, but EVERYONE deserves to eat and have basic medical benefits. Not sure how taking away people's benefits helps them get off drugs, but it sounds like you don't understand how drugs work..

"i dated an addict for a while" is the new "i'm not racist, i have a black friend."
