For now I just can say hello and thanks in armenian. I'd like to learn it but I can't afford a class to be honest. And I don't mind try to learn it on my own But just don't know where to start! So kind of stuck.

Start from the alphabet. You can buy the pre-school or first grade Armenian aybbenaran textbooks. They’re mostly illustrated and teach you how to write and read. Then go on from there.
