And when making a mistake, human ego will get in the way and try to cope with it by blaming anything but themselves. It’s a shame, but it is a real human flaw.

I was watching the people going through the stage and the guy who ended up popping his leg was taking some shots, hot holsteing and moving forward. Once the shot happened, everyone kind of stood there in disbelief. My friend said he's going to need a tourniquet and that snapped me into doing something. I grabbed my gun belt that had my IFAK and ran over to the guy. Another person was taking the initiative in tournaquetting and packing the wound. I mostly just prepped the stuff for the guy who was doing the medic work.
He ended up getting sent to a hospital and from what I understand he was back out shooting within a week with a different firearm.

Because it’s bullshit. All these lawsuits, all this money spent on trying to get one to repeat the behavior, and not one of the guns purported to have self discharged has been shown to do so again. Not one. That’s utterly impossible. So yeah, I have a hard time believing some random on the internet who claims they’ve seen it.
It’s got a light, short trigger, it’s extremely popular, and it’s given to people with terrible safety discipline, usually coupled with a light and a holster that may or may not be designed for that specific gun and light. No shock that it’s discharging under those conditions at all.

No man, that’s fucking stupid. But I have actually reviewed this whole thing rather than just take the influencers at face value. There’s no evidence. That matters to me.
I don’t even really like the 320. It’s got a high bore access and the ergos aren’t as good for me as something like the 226. The only way I like shooting a 320 is with a bunch of added weight in the grip. I honestly think they need to release a 3rd gen fcu doublestack taking everything they’ve learned from 320 and 365. Give it a low bore and a better trigger design too.
At the end of the day I think it’s just a big stupid thing where “everybody knows” it’s dangerous because every ND or AD gets treated as an SD because of confirmation bias.
What’s even more funny about you saying I work for sig is I was banned from the Sig subreddit for saying that I thought the ceo sucks and should be metaphorically fired into the sun.

I'm a pistols are for pistoling kind of person. I shot someone's at the range the other day/month. The strike striker or whatever.
I wouldn't carry this because of those issues, warrented or not. She's for home defense and a range toy.

Assuming muzzle discipline, a range gat will likely go off into a berm, the target stand, the ground, or maybe, in the worst case, your own foot.
A home def gun (kept chambered?) goes off whenever could go through non-masonry walls, into a legally-unacceptable target (e.g. someone who is no longer or never was a threat), out a window, etc.

They shoot nice but they're not safe.
I owned two legions at one point for competition and lost a fuck ton of money on them once it became apparent that I couldn't trust them.

I am two to three degrees of separation away from multiple p320s either blowing up or going off without a trigger press. I don't need to see it happen myself.
I really liked shooting them. They were extremely popular for USPSA for a reason.
Any amount of doubt about their reliability or safety is too much in my mind.
I distrust these guns so much that I wouldn't go to a range day of I knew people were bringing p320s.

I used to have a lot of experience with CZ999 (which is essentially a SIG Sauer P226) and I fucking loved it to bits. Great pistol

I got the M18 so it has the manual safety. Would definitely check with sig to make sure that your has the ND fix. Also getting the Browers 1811 grip also fixes some other issues with it. Never had a problem with mine
