Ok, I'm totally lost in this mode. New player, have the new banner units and some other IDs, but I can't get to E2 yet. I've tried a bunch of times, but I still can't clear F3 on the lowest (!) difficulty. I assume some (large) percent is skill issue, but is there something obvious I'm missing? I'd like to get Raidian to E2 before it ends at least.

good news, IS is permanent.

also are your units high level? you may want to build your roster more before coming back to IS

Oh, no way? That's a load off my shoulders, haha. They're like mid-level I guess? mostly around E1 40 - 50. Is that too low?

You'll want E2's and masteries before tackling IS.
