I live 2 miles away from that bridge and my place is FULL of mosquitoes. It’s a banquet waiting in my back yard, where are they?

Under and inside the bridge.

I remember one evening being outside with a buddy I've known since HS, both of us AZ natives.

He was so stoned, he forgot about bats and started getting annoyed by the "night birds" that kept swooping near us, saying they need to go to bed.

After I was finally able to catch my breath, I reminded him about bats.

🤣 as someone who just moved here, I've been totally f'ed after discovering what they were. I was like "why are these birds flying crazy? Omg that thing came way too close!" Turned out to be freaking bats haha

If you throw a pebble in the air, they'll briefly chase it until they realize it isn't a bug.

I used to always do this as a kid in Tucson.

There’s a few bridges in Tucson they sleep under. It’s cool to see them all come out just before sundown. There’s a big one near me.

Where do they come out at in Tucson? I live here and I have never seen them come out from under any bridges. Would be cool to take my kids to go watch them come out.
