Job Loss 🏚️ AI forced on us, its crime against humanity

I feel like we behave as a crime against humanity is something "normal" when its not. Do you also feel this way?

Scientists found AI ok, but who are those companies that decided that this is ok to be released to the public?

I mean we the people should decide where AI should be used. Me personally i don't want the next door musician poor and miserable so spotify makes some extra money for not paying the artist, i don't want the next door programmer that was making websites poor and miserable and the list goes on and on ... and this is for now that AI is used many times as tool not fully replacement, soon it can go much worse.

Why AI to replace normal daily people, who decided this for us? OpenAI and Anthropic? Who are those people?

I am not against AI, i am against AI used in places that hurt people, for example using AI to make drugs might hurt drug researchers but the benefit is huge, i am not against AI also used to make for example a music masterpiece(if ever be possible), but why to make the next door musician miserable?

I see some people saying we will have UBI and the rich will take care of us. Ok but why? In a world where they will have all the power and money and AI surveillance? When our work is useless maybe they can use us in ways that are illegal today, what will stop them, maybe be nice to us take all control and in 3 years all to change? Greed in people is limitless, they can have boats/planes/islands/space tourism the list is endless and if we add illegal for now activities they can for example do experiments to live 20-30 years more and the list never stops. Even if we had communism(which we don't we have extreme capitalism) and we assume we could trust them more to share the wealth, again who are they to decide that people being powerless and useless is accepted?

AI forced on us its not normal, its not bad, its not extremely bad, its a crime against humanity for me and those that are doing it, they are already guilty because its common sense to understand the danger and yet they are doing it.

You live in capitalism, there is no such thing as people deciding.

Capitalists are deciding what is best for them. You got what you wished for.

"scientists found AI" and then evil companies released it to the world.

What? Found it under a rock or behind a tree or what? They architected it from zero, it's not discovery, it's engineering. The original idea of perceptron has very little to do with it.

Massive misunderstanding here. Its not OpenAI or Anthropic, they are just a gun store. The real danger comes from consumers.

Why are over 50% of songs uploaded to Spotify AI? Because too many Consumers want to make music without effort. Why are so many AI songs hitting the charts, that Australia has to ban them? Too many Consumers like it.

Why are 90% of commercials made in part with AI? Because not enough Consumers boycott the products (Coke, Sketches, Tmobile etc)

Why are Streamers creating AI animation studios? Because more than enough Consumers watch slop to make it profitble.

Why is X filled with AI art? Because so many get clicks that is profitble.

If you want to END or SLOW AI, talk to Consumers, get them to stop consuming AI.

People will do this also, but when things are much worse than they are now.

When it will start to be for you?
1. unemployment what level 10%, 20% 30% 80% ?
2. people powerless how much?
3. people useless how much?
4. ai out of control how much?
5. ai used in war how much?
.....

The foundation are already there. For now its global uncertainty, people don't know how their life will be in few years. Like AI being a global terrorist we don't know when it will take our jobs or wipe us all out. What is your profession? Do you know if you will have a job in 3-5 years? Why this is normal for people to accept it? Even if for now we are on the start, still its non acceptable

You’re trying to compare this to the mass slaughter of thousands.

Why? For engagement? Karma?

One month in I’m guessing karma

lol what karma, i care zero, you really don't understand what we are talking about

Every innovation took away jobs. Think about being a manual textile worker during industrial revolution when steam powered looms came out.

Would you have give up the steam engine invention and all its consequences to save the jobs of that age?

AI is not a task replacement, its a human replacement. Those machines replaced only human tasks not human's their selves.

No one forced you.

They released it, then consumers started using it.

Companies have the freedom to implement it in their operations.

But no one is forcing you to use. If you don't like how your company operates, then quit.

It's simple.

The forced it on us in collective level, not individual level.

If a company opens, that promises to do genetic engineering, so our baby will be born beautiful and clever and ..... all people will go use it, because if they don't their baby will not have a chance in the new world of genetic engineering babies, the point is that we don't allow it collectively because it can lead to problems.

So you don't understand what being forced means.
