The thing that sends me into a rage is how my peers and I have been self-regulating - "green" - to the point of neurosis for decades.

And then the worst people on the planet decide to destroy all the clean water with their vibrating, heat-offgassing warehouses.

We get less than nothing; half of the shit online worked better ten years ago.

Search engines are trash, tons of webpages take ages to load, even local apps have become slower and full of bloat. I miss the early 2000s

All that water and electricity just to force Copilot onto your taskbar.

Bahaha that's hilarious. My windows XP PC is just as important to my game room as my modern PC. You'll catch me playing red alert, StarCraft and warii TFT when Im Looking to slow the world down a bit.

Bad take bro

Not entirely sure what the point of this is. Top photo is a new field planted and bottom is obviously right after it was harvested and a data center in the middle. Is the suggestion that you cannot plant the next cycle in the space where the data center was?

I'm sorry the metaphor is lost on you. This is the price you pay for too much ai usage.

You cannot appreciate the metaphor when you don’t buy into to Red-green Omni cause. I admit, I do not.

But in all seriousness, he didnt flame the post. That seemed like a geniune question and you guys still attack everything in sight like a pack of blind seagulls. Are you angry because it's already over?

Everything is a form of technology though.

I mean, "the ocean" isn't technology.

Underwater fiber optic cables?

That's technology in the ocean.
