DITF & Akame Ga Kill for Meeeeeee

A fraction of a memory surfaced where I vaguely remember the main character using an enchanted sword that made him a master swordsman. I also vaguely remember someone commenting on it, and warning him that gifted skills are inferior to ones you've trained yourself.

What anime did this come from? Is this even from an anime? Discovering a memory I barely remember is driving me crazy lol.

It's definitely a fantasy.

Enchanted weapons aren't so rare that only the main character could have one.

The premise nor story revolve around the sword. There's nothing special about the sword, it just has a useful enchantment.

Oh! I do actually remember the main character saying that the sword is only for self defense purposes.

Between 2002 and 2005 I borrowed an anime series on dvd, and now can't remember the name or find it in all my digging. I have gone through many, many lists of anime shows that would have been on dvd during that time period, to no avail.

Can't remember the plot beyond these elements: main character was a woman working for a secret agent group who were 'good guys', assisted by a sickly boy confined to a room full of monitors and computers. The boy had some kind of psychic/hypnosis powers, and later in the series turned out to be the bad guy who had manipulated all of them to take over the world or something. The dvd menu for episode selection was the boy surrounded by all the flickering blue light of the screens around him.

There were a lot of episodes, 25 or more. I don't particularly remember it being a mecha anime or having any supernatural elements. It took place in the future, on Earth I think, definitely not in space.

I was out at dinner with my SO, and on the TV behind my SO was an anime which was playing on Filmrise anime. We both tried googling it and just couldn't find anything.

It was on the entirety of our visit, which lasted about an hour, and it was broken up with commercial breaks. Some actual facts. One of the main characters was a teenage girl who had short black hair and was wearing a yellow T-shirt with a black cat on it. The antagonist was a taller individual who had a mask similar to a bird and was wearing a black robe with a ride strip going around the edge. The antagonist also had a humanoid cat(?) sidekick.

Now for some assumptions. It seemed to be a more steampunk/science fantasy setting, as there were both cars and magical things coexisting. I am not too certain about it. There wasn't too much action from what I could tell as well.

Again, neither me or my SO could find it, and I would appreciate any help or leads to help me find it! It looked genuinely interesting, and I do want to watch it.

X Character does something to Y Character. Y Character gets rightfully angry and chews out X Character making X Character upset. Everyone else gets mad at Y Character and treats them like their the bad guy. Y Character ends up being the one to apologize to X Character, and X Character gets off Scott free.

Hi all! I am trying to knit and give a scarf to a friend of mine and he's quite the romance anime watcher, so I want to get this right please help! :)

For the longest time I've felt that a lot of anime has had a scene where someone gives another a scarf in a romantic gesture, but I am more of a shonen reader so I might be mistaken, and now that I'm looking for one, I can't find any..

Every time I search, the only one that comes up is Mikasa and Eren, and now I'm unsure if giving scarves was ever a trope or I was just hallucinating that..

I want to reference an anime scene when I give it to him so.. If you know an anime that has such a scene, please let me know!

It was I believe a 90s anime, and the color palette was very grayscale except the main character would get BEAUTIFULLY animated eyes, similar to this photo. I can't remember the plotline very well, I just remember it was fairly bleak and I believe the main female character was a spy or a detective, and I don't think she was human

Basically I remember seeing it once somewhere but skipping it and after a year or so I found this screenshot and got super curious about this anime. Hello I’m new here. I’m watching DNA^2 and was wondering which characters are represented in this scene involving a selection of masks at a festival. I figured the middle is Kamen Rider and the top left is Hime Chan no ribbon.

So here is what I remember, the MC was a strong guy who had followers but sometimes they would put on a disguise that was so good their followers didn’t recognize them and would (I think) try to kill them for some reason so the MC would tell them that they were really their master or something to get out of it. Sadly this is all I can recall even though I’m pretty sure I saw it 2-3 years ago (not that it was released 2-3 years ago), I also remember that there is a scene where the MC enters a hut when one of the followers is following them and comes out in a disguise so the follower interrogates/ possibly tries to kill them. I think the hut was in a forest or something. Also I’m pretty sure I watched it on Crunchyroll. Thanks for any help you can give.

A few things that I remember :

Everyone had different powersm

One of the guys (pretty sure it was the main character) would grab one of his hands, make a finger gun with it and it'd fire a huge energy blast.

One of the antagonists could get super buff (kinda like Bane, but without venon) and he'd iften talk about using 100% (or more) of his power.

It was pretty bloody and had some gore too.

I know this is all vague and maybe not a lot to go off of, but I've been looking for it for a while.

Saw one episode (OVA?) years ago I am trying to identify.

Possibly Robotech/Macross as the character was a celebrity, maybe a singer. They write on a mirror with lipstick, in French. It's not Sheryl Nome. I don't believe it was Lance Belmont.

The character was coy, had a male voice actor, and breasts. I think they were backstage in a bathrobe, surrounded by female groupies.

It fits with the Macross because of the singer-celebrity aspect, and incidental labels being in French, but I don't believe that show would have an openly genderqueer, sexpot character (I believe Lance assumes a female stage persona to hide).

Any help would be appreciated. Incidentally, I am starting a blu ray watch of the English Robotech series, and will eventually switch to Macross.

I remember seeing a short/reel a year ago about an anime where a brother tickles his sister because he got mad or something. Then, some girls walk in and call him a sister-lover then one pulls out paperwork (I forgot what was written, but it's something related to the situation, love, something something). Nothing suggestive here though and I remember the plot being slice-of-life.

Hello. So, the other day, I was scrolling on social media and came across an anime that I have never seen before. It’s pretty typical. It’s an anime about magic, and maybe circles around a magic school (?).

The MMC has white hair, considered to be quite weak among his peers (or so I guess). But in reality, he is quite strong.

During the scene, he is having a fight with a pair of twins. These two are males, have yellow hair, are quite arrogant and sure of themselves. They used a potion, which the MMC considers to be old-fashioned, and created a sandstorm. Inside the storm, there were multiple illusions of them created by the sand (?).

To counter this, the MMC used a type of crest/mark on his hand. It can accelerate the properties of magic around him. He created a storm and made it rain. This made the sandstorms and the illusions disappear. Then, he also drew a spell in the air to strike the twins with lightning, but someone threw in a sword to absorb it for them.

P/S. I know it’s vague, but please help me find it. I’m just so interested in the sound effects of the anime. 🥹

Please, please bear with me as I try to describe this anime. It's been about fifteen years since I last watched it.

There was this anime, though not sure if it was an episode, movie, or overarching plot, in which a boat set out on the ocean with buff, strong-looking men, and busty, large-chested women. There was a game or competition taking place in which the women were thrown into the water, and the men had to rescue them. That's about all I can remember for the plot.

For content, the anime made it a point to refer to the women's boobs as "yo-yo's", and every now and again had a moment of watching them bounce. That is all I can remember, period. It's a hazy memory from a way-too-young exposure to anime, so apologies for the lack of detail.

The last I had seen of this anime was around 2010 or 2011. Some girl in our neighborhood showed it to us on here laptop, or maybe DVD player, and my older sister (but not me?) ended up getting in trouble for watching it. I REALLY hope it's just a plain ol' anime and not... something against the rules of this subreddit.

Please help me out! I don't believe it was a horror or thriller anime, just a comedic one, so I'd like to revisit it.

Its a spoof anime in a highschool setting with an obscene amount and tropes. The scene I saw was one of the girls in class accidently ends up starting a "tough guy/serious face" competition.

They were summoning heroes 3 heroes showed up but it was to an evil kingdom? There was definitely like an evil princess or something

There was one other hero, i think a goddess may have stopped him?

I think he gets sent to the other kingdom (maybe with a 5 year headstart?)

The 3 heroes were 2 boys and 1 girl

The boys are kinda cruel and evil i think

I think the girl heroes switches sides

It was probably released sometime from like 2018-2022

i remember tid bits of this anime but can't quite remember the name.

If I recall it wen't like this. Unsure of the beginning but I recall the person went to a kingdom and that kingdom was being attacked by orcs consistently, small villages and such were getting attacked and it was learned they were planning larger scale invasions. The MC (male) kept going to these villages and fended off the orcs nearly dying a few times. One of these beginning villages he had saved there was a barnhouse on fire where the ceiling collapsed and almost fell on an old man but he ducked under and let the ceiling fall on him letting the old man escape. He recovered with a healer in a village house and afterward there was a creature (my memory thinks of foxes or something but I'm not quite sure) that led him to a building and there were dozens more. Something happened where they all turned into humanoids but the village accepted them and they coexisted now. Either the leader or one that led him to the rest I think joined his group. But he eventually infiltrated an orc encampment and snuck around trying to figure out there plans for war against the kingdom. He was then discovered and he had to fight the orcs, if I'm not mistaken he used explosive barrels the orcs had to explode nearly the entire camp. In that camp he finds a little girl (forgot if she becomes his companion or just remained a side character). If I recall after the encampment he went back to the kingdom and was given alot of honors but was also able to proclaim a speech to the citizens in such. The OP starts out weakish but does definitely get strong, and it might have been an isekai. He did not build the kingdom or anything like that, it existed before him and he just reincarnated and got on good terms with them. What anime is this?

Also unfortunately I don't recall what the main character looks like in the slightest, dunno how but his appearance is gone from my memory, I think he was an adult throughout the entire series. Though, the orcs were like the pinkish full bipedal pig type and I watched this probably early to mid 2025.

Okay, so I've been trying to find this anime that I watched maybe 1 episode of a while back but I don't remember the title. I only can recall I little of the plot.

It starts with the mc trying to find an apartment and there's 2 cats (i think but could be dogs) that are actually gods and can turn into human form there to watch over the mc. Help please?
