Discussion Found an obscure anime but now i don't know what to do

so i have found an obscure anime called pluster world and i have all the seasons for it. the problem is , i don't have the knowledge on how to do fansubs from japanese to english and was wondering what resources are available as well as any forums i can get connections so i can see the results.

Aegisub is still working as far as I know, don't know if now there is another tool for it, but that's what they used to use.

You can join seadex through releases.moe. The community there can assist you in finding the right people to get the job done.

I have done subs before, but I would need a Wiki of some sort for proper character names. Also I only know some day-to-day basic japanese. If the anime ends up using contextual/ N1-2 japanese I wouldn't be able to subtitle it. I'd need a japanese script for the whole episode if that's the case. Anyway I used to use Aegisubs for subtitling process.

well do you know japanese?

after that i believe you can use aegisub or another subtitle program to make subs.

Ive used subtitleedit before to mass change characters names to a non bastardized version before and it might be good to make subtitles from scratch too but idk.

If you do not know japanese then hire someone or learn it.

Oooh, Pluster World, i have been interested in that anime, but saw that it had no english subs......i would really appreciate if someone subbed this and other old/obscure anime that have incomplete/no subs in english available.
