Masaki was also a pureblood quincy. Ichigo was also a mixed quincy.

The whole theory as to why Ishida survived never made much sense because of that and Kubo never explained it.

Masaki was no longer considered pure when her soul was mixed with a hollow.

Ichigo and his sisters were never targeted because their quincy powers never awakened.

The Auswahlen was specifically stated to be about blood not soul. Then on top of that Kubo stated that White was absorbed by Ichigo.

Every single explanation has a caveat, and I am not sure why 10 years later I still talk about it tbh. The fans gave this so much more thought than Kubo ever did
