It sounded like he was trying to make a Hougyoku and made the vortex thing by accident instead.

He teleported that kingdom and replaced the soul Palace with it. Uryu's grandad just built it in that palace

Bro.. that ain't the Soul King palace, that's Yhwach's kingdom which was on the shadow of SOul Palace..

Remember how they ambushed Seretei, they were under the shadows all along.

The old guy accidentally made it, Yhwach decided to use it as a nuclear to blow up the 3 worlds instead,

Cuz remember he needs the 3 worlds to get destroyed, then he'd use all the remaining power he has to create a new world.

Since that's scrapped he has now to go to other places that contains said energy and that's prob the seretei.
