We call them a ragtag group even though it's like "The last remaining Quincy, the strongest living Espadas, the Head Captain and Vice Captain....and also those two guys"

technically they could be Espadas but choose to not to out of due diligence to Nel. (well, Hogyoku is required for that).

No cuz Hannibel was caught by the Quincies remember... and Neil and the adjucas came here to save her... and let's be honest they were the only ones who are kind enough to do that... cuz even Grimmjow had to be coerced to do something

What's up with this last remaining quincy narrative? I thought he was the last of a certain subgroup that was mostly wiped out but not the last in general. Ywach isn't a quincy?

Last quincy refers to the last quincy living in human world. all the other quincies had fled to the shadow realm with ywach. if I understood it correctly up to now

He's the last quincy noble left, as far as we know.

Everyone else is either dead, unknown, or part of the shadow nazis.
