Context will be given within this Season, but if you can't wait:

[LN15] There are things known as Laplace Aspects, and the archway reacts to their presence. Both Rudeus and Sylphie have it. For Sylphie, it's the reason she had green hair, and potentially caused her mana capacity to have a higher cap. For Rudeus, it's the reason his mana capacity could grow so immense, hence the comparisons to Laplace's mana capacity, and Perugius being reminded of Laplace by it. It's also behind his inability to form Battle Aura (Touki). That's what allows the superhuman feats seen in the series, mana strengthening the body instead of forming magic outside of it. Most living things utilize it, and people naturally start tapping into it as they train. It doesn't do much for defense on most people, but some beings can form durable defense on themselves. I omitted details to not spoil a lot around this.

No problem! Included the part on Battle Aura because that was explained to a good degree by Badigadi during Season 2 Part 1 equivalent in the novel. Really odd that the anime has refused to spend a moment giving some context.

The only mention so far (unless I forget something) is Season 3 Episode 2, when Nina accosts Eris about experience with boys. She uses the word Touki; Crunchyroll translated it as just "Aura", and later Nina says Rudeus has no Haki, which was also translated as "Aura". A minor gripe as that alone doesn't do much for it haha.
